The pilot model is bringing many benefits to both businesses, business households, and tourists when visiting the tourist area as well as Ha Long Bay.

At the “Cashless Smart Street”, each business household is instructed to install the Viettel Money application for free and a separate QR code for payment. Currently, business households have participated, initially encouraging transactions and payments through the Viettel Money application and other digital forms, step by step towards 100% of transactions being converted to payment.

Based on piloting, the model of “Cashless Smart Street” will be evaluated and learned to replicate throughout the province. The model not only contributes to promoting e-commerce activities and non-cash payments in the fields, especially tourism but also helps to optimize services and create a civilized and modern tourism environment in the region. strong recovery efforts after the pandemic.

Therefore, with the payment of tickets to visit the bay by internet banking and scanning the QR code, it will be very convenient for tourists, especially for large groups of tourists, this payment will be much faster and more accurate.

Previously, in April, tourists visiting Ha Long Bay applied an electronic invoice that integrated tickets to visit the bay and passenger service through the port instead of buying paper tickets as before. With this utility, information about visitors will be digitized and stored securely, convenient for management, search, and handling of arising situations quickly.
