Vietnam Airlines Cooperates with Sun Group to Stimulate Quang Ninh Tourism

Two large enterprises in the aviation and tourism industry decided to comprehensively cooperate with the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province to promote and develop the tourism market.

The event is part of a conference to launch the reopening of tourism activities “Vietnam – Full Experience” on March 22. Therefore, the two will strengthen Vietnam Airlines’ route network to and from Van Don International Airport and promote communication and promotion of the parties’ images and products. At the same time, coordinate to promote tourism and trade promotion, improve the efficiency of promotional activities and attract investment, aviation; implement appropriate solutions to quickly restore the aviation services industry, tourism economy… The parties also aim to develop policies to support products and services and prioritize the effective use of each other’s products and services.

Based on this cooperation agreement, in the future, the three parties will coordinate to carry out various practical activities to stimulate the Quang Ninh tourism market. In particular, a very important activity is to promote the development of the Quang Ninh tourism market, focusing on domestic and international routes to Quang Ninh via the Van Don Sun Group airport.

In particular, Vietnam Airlines and Sun Group will coordinate to research and build aviation products that combine tourism and resorts in the ecosystem of the parties in Quang Ninh province to stimulate tourism demand for domestic and foreign tourists.

Therefore, Sun Group will cooperate and promote the strengths of the parties to maintain and increase the frequency of the current routes operated by Vietnam Airlines to and from Van Don International Airport. At the same time, Sun Group is also researching, discussing, and agreeing on plans to build and expand new domestic and international routes to/from Van Don international airport; cooperating with Quang Ninh province and Vietnam Airlines to build a product package combined with tourism products and services related to the Sun Group ecosystem in Quang Ninh and other regions, air transportation services to attract and stimulate demand, add value to customers and research and develop the promotion of programs and policies in the cross-use of products and services of the remaining parties.

As for Vietnam Airlines, continue to make effective use of and increase the frequency of flights from the main market to Quang Ninh province; learn about the possible reopening of the Da Nang – Van Don route as soon as possible. At the same time, the national carrier opened more routes from the main provinces and cities to Van Don to attract a steady flow of tourists to Quang Ninh. Vietnam Airlines cooperated with Sun Group to build preferential combo package products, including airline tickets with hotel rooms, resorts, amusement parks, sightseeing tickets in the province; promote information about cultural and tourism destinations and events of Quang Ninh province as well as Sun Group’s tourism products on Vietnam Airlines media resources.

With the growing potential of Quang Ninh tourism and the potential of the two leading brands in tourism – aviation in Vietnam, the cooperation between the parties will be a great impetus for Quang Ninh tourism to bounce back strongly. bringing the heritage area to meet its goals of welcoming 10 million visitors by 2022 and becoming a hub for international tourism by 2030.

Vietnam has officially reopened tourism after 2 years of being negatively affected by the Covid-19 epidemic starting March 15. There are many good signals to confirm that Vietnam’s tourism industry will recover soon. International guests have responded positively to Vietnam’s reopening policy and are satisfied with the services and products they have just experienced. In particular, the reopening of Vietnam’s international commercial routes will be a positive resonance for the tourism and aviation industries to recover.
